ADDGARDS Pedestrian Barricade Systems protect pedestrians from hazardous areas. Three brightly colored panels form a barrier for escalators, control panels and other service situations, alerting the public to the existence of a maintenance area and prohibiting entrance into the service zone. Place four, five or even six panels together for a complete enclosure. What's more exiting about the design is the added continuous bottom “tapping" rail for blind pedestrian navigation around the danger zone.
Pedestrian ADDGARD barricades satisfy the new MUTCD guidelines for pedestrian safety in the work zone. Reducing the risks of pedestrians near worksites is one of the issues addressed in MUTCD safety standard 6D.01, 6D.02 and 6F.68. These standards state “all pedestrian barricade systems must now provided a continuous detectable edging so that blind pedestrians navigating with a cane can safely be guided around hazards.” Remcon Pedestrian ADDGARDS have this continuous rail feature as part of our design.

Indoor uses include portable safety fence to keep the public away from maintenance activities such as electrical, plumbing, or gas maintenance or “Confined Space” applications regulated by OSHA. ADDGARDS reduce accidents and the resulting liability exposure caused by people going around or through inferior barricades.

Individual 36" x 40" x 1 ¼" panels easily snap together without tools to create a variety of configurations, or you may purchase sets of 2, 3 or 4 panels with permanent hinges. Even when linked, panels can be folded for easy transport and compact storage.

In addition to a variety of standard signs, ADDGARDS may be customized with corporate logos or custom colors.

Complete Enclosure
ADDGARDS completely surround danger zones. The unique design creates minimal openings, which help prevent Pedestrians or animals from entering the maintenance or work area.
Interchangeable Signage Placement
The versatile signage feature allows for signs and striping to be quickly changed at the work zone. Multiple signs can be stored in the holders for convenience and a locking device reduces theft.
Quick Release Snap Hinge
The patented snap hinge allows for fast, problem- free assembly. Any number of barriers can be linked together easily, enabling large areas to be fenced off in just minutes.
Thin Profile
ADDGARDS are lightweight and easy to transport. Weighing 11 pounds each and having a width of 1 ¼", several can be carried at the same time.
