The Guardsafe 42P is a durable, water-fillable plastic barricade designed to create highly visible separation in temporary traffic control, construction, checkpoint, crowd-control, data center, perimeter-control, and access-control applications. Its rotationally molded polyethylene construction is built for repeated field use, while its pivoting pin-connected design allows crews to create continuous straight runs, controlled turns, and flexible site layouts without special hardware.

The Guardsafe 42P is well suited for large-scale data center construction sites where visibility, access control, perimeter layouts, pedestrian walkways, and changing site conditions all matter. Its taller 42-inch profile helps crews create clear separation around high-traffic access points, utility work zones, laydown yards, temporary internal traffic routes, and phased campus construction areas.

Big sites need simple visual rules. Guardsafe 42P barricades are available in custom colors to help contractors create clear site zones — such as high-visibility green for pedestrian walkways and orange for traffic routes, work zones, or restricted areas.

Pivoting 90-Degree Turns Without a Separate Corner Piece

The “P” in Guardsafe 42P stands for Pivot. The Guardsafe 42P is designed to stay connected through controlled turns up to 90 degrees using the rotationally molded plastic pin included with each barricade. That means crews can create corners, access points, and changing site layouts without buying separate corner pieces, special adapters, or added connection hardware.

Compatible with Guardsafe 36

The Guardsafe 42P is compatible with the Guardsafe 36, allowing crews to maintain a continuous connected line when a site calls for both 36-inch and 42-inch barricade sections. Each Guardsafe 42P and Guardsafe 36 includes a separate rotationally molded plastic pin, so mixed-height layouts can be connected without extra hardware, special adapters, or added connection kits.

This gives contractors the flexibility to use taller Guardsafe 42P units in areas where additional height or visibility is preferred, while continuing the connected run with Guardsafe 36 barricades where a lower-profile unit is the better fit. Both the Guardsafe 42P and Guardsafe 36 can accept fencing, giving crews more flexibility when defining pedestrian walkways, restricted areas, perimeter lines, or changing site layouts.
